LjubljanaSlovenia (Europe)
Ljubljana is the capital and largest city in Slovenia and is often referred to by tourists as the hidden gem of Europe. With the emerald green Ljubljanica River running through the heart of the city and very little traffic, other than pedestrians and cyclists, it was voted European Commission's Green Capital of Europe in 2016. There is so much to see and explore in this vibrant and creative city from museums and galleries to an ancient castle and numerous festivals.
